The first therapy session at Speak;Easy is a conversational, low-pressure introduction. It’s a chance for your therapist to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, what life has felt like recently, and what you’d like to be different. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or know exactly what to say—therapy is a space to explore, not perform.

Therapists at Speak;Easy support adults, adolescents (13+), and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, substance use, and questions of identity, meaning, and purpose. Sessions are tailored to each person’s experience rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.

Yes — we offer both in-person and telehealth appointments for flexibility and convenience.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact your therapist directly. Our main phone line is not used for scheduling changes, but we’re happy to help connect you if needed.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur a $75 fee.

We’re located just past 5 Mile Road on East Beltline heading north. Our entrance comes up quickly — if you miss it, you can turn left onto Grand River Avenue and immediately left again to loop through the parking lot.
You’ll find us in the furthest building (Building 1). Our entrance is the first door on the left, located at the back of the building.
