I work with people who carry deep emotional pain, trauma, and life struggles, including those navigating the challenges of immigration, cultural identity, and starting over. Whether you feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply tired of holding everything inside, you don’t have to face it alone anymore. I will meet you where you are with compassion, respect, and without judgment. Together, we will progress at your pace, creating a safe space for you to share your story. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and aimed at helping you regain control, clarity, and strength. As a Mexican American and a veteran, I understand what it means to face adversity and carry experiences that shape who you are. I also recognize the strength it takes to persevere. My approach is not only rooted in professional training but also in lived experience, transforming pain into growth and struggle into empowerment.

Specialty Areas: Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, childhood concerns, mood stability, and self-esteem. I also help with cultural assimilation, acculturation stress, identity, life transitions, grief, immigration challenges, burnout, and adjustment to new environments. Other focuses are stress management, emotional regulation, interpersonal issues, and resilience building.

Treatment Approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also incorporate Mindfulness-Based approaches, Trauma-Informed Care, and culturally responsive practices to support each client’s unique background and experiences. My approach is integrative and collaborative, allowing me to tailor interventions to best meet your individual needs and goals.
