Every one of us wants our one life to be the best we can have. We want to experience as much happiness as we possibly can. We want good emotional health in our lives. Talking with someone/therapy is something we can utilize to make us happier. I know this personally from talking with someone else/attending therapy and from being a therapist.

My approach as a therapist is that you and I will join together, working for the goal(s) you have for yourself. I have found that the issues we encounter most frequently, which direct us to counseling, are depression, anxiety, anger, changes/transitions in life, conflict, existential questions, spiritual life, family relationships, and marriage/partner relationships.

I utilize aspects from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Therapy (and to a lesser degree, other therapeutic approaches) to reduce our negative experiences and increase our positive experiences/happiness, especially in these issues. It has been a blessing for me to have training and education in counseling and spiritual issues with several years of both professional and personal experience. All these provide the foundation which is shared with adults and teenagers seeking services.
