Rachael Freedman, LLMSW (Telehealth Only)
You are the most important person in your life. We often don’t hear or say this enough, and this is the heart of the space we’ll create working together. What stressors are you hoping to work through? Therapy together will be non-judgmental and safe so we can honor your every experience. My approach to therapy is person-centered since effective therapy is unique to each person, and your goals and values will be the framework we build upon.
Primary modalities I use include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and a Strengths-Based approach, meaning we will explore identifying and being your authentic self and building your internal power. The world we live in defines and shapes our individual experiences, so societal context will be integrated into our synthesis of the issues you face.
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2022, and I have clinical experience working through symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD with folks 18+. I am especially enthusiastic about navigating concerns tied to sex, low self-esteem, anxiety, identity, and relationships in the therapeutic space, and am especially grateful to clients in the LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodiverse communities! Please send me an email to see if we are a good fit for the compassionate care you deserve.
