The vulnerability required of therapy can be overwhelming. As someone who has personally experienced not only the benefits of therapy but the support and compassion of a therapist, I can safely say working with someone who sees you as an individual can truly do wonders.

When clients seek my therapeutic services, I don’t view them as having “problems.” I recognize them as individuals, stuck in patterns of behaviors no longer helpful. As an upbeat and energetic person, I provide a safe, open, explorative, and validating environment to facilitate change. I work hand in hand with clients toward achieving life satisfaction through compassion, curiosity, and a sense of humor to process the hard work of therapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Therapist, I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health field using cognitive, dialectic, and solution-focused therapeutic techniques. Life transitions, parenting, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse can all be difficult issues to go through, however, I am here to help you navigate these unchartered waters. First, give yourself recognition for the strength of seeking out help navigating life’s obstacles and challenges. It can be one of the best decisions you ever make and it would be an honor to walk alongside you.
