Amanda Brown, LMSW
Reaching out for help takes courage. It means that you are able to admit that you do not have all the answers and have the strength to acknowledge that you may be struggling. Experiencing personal conflicts can make you feel unsteady, anxious, and unsure about how to move forward. It is during these times, I believe that showing up authentically is the first step in moving forward. I believe that leaning into vulnerability and tuning into yourself is key to a transformative journey. Therapy is a safe place to remember who you are and discover the inherent power you hold to create a life that you will simply enjoy living. I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in the human capacity for change. You are the expert of your own life and I desire to work alongside you to develop healthier relationships and learn effective strategies to overcome life’s obstacles. My goal is to create a supportive environment to foster healing, growth, and empowerment.
I welcome individuals from all backgrounds with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. I have a special interest in supporting athletes navigating mental health and performance challenges. As a former athlete and current coach, I understand the pressures of sport and the importance of building resilience to achieve both personal well-being and peak performance. I can also work with coaches and teams to strengthen leadership, manage performance anxiety, and foster cohesive, high-performing team cultures.
